Cold War Chess ("we", "our", or "the app") is a strategy game for iOS, Android, and macOS. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.
Cold War Chess collects minimal data:
Your game progress and save data are stored locally on your device. Anonymous gameplay statistics are stored via Apple's CloudKit service. Online multiplayer match records, including opponent Game Center identifiers, are stored in a CloudKit public database. We do not operate external servers for data collection. CloudKit and Game Center data are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
On Android and macOS, your data is stored locally on your device only.
Cold War Chess does not integrate with or share data with any third-party advertisers or data brokers. The only external services used are Apple's CloudKit for gameplay statistics and Game Center for online multiplayer functionality.
Cold War Chess does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The app does not require any personal data to function.
You can delete all local app data at any time by deleting the app from your device. On Apple devices, you can manage or delete your iCloud data through Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Manage Storage. Anonymous gameplay statistics that have already been aggregated cannot be attributed to individual users and therefore cannot be individually deleted. Online multiplayer records stored in CloudKit may be requested for deletion by contacting us at the address below.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
