By downloading, installing, or using Cold War Chess ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Description of Service
Cold War Chess is a strategy game for iOS, Android, and macOS that combines chess mechanics with fog-of-war tactics and resource economy. The app includes single-player campaigns, AI opponents, and local two-player mode. Game data is stored locally on your device.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Cold War Chess only for its intended purpose as a personal entertainment application. You may not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the app
- Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws
- Attempt to exploit, modify, or interfere with the app's gameplay systems
Intellectual Property
All content, design, graphics, artwork, game mechanics, and code in Cold War Chess are owned by Cold War Chess and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app.
Anonymous Data Collection
Cold War Chess collects anonymous, aggregated gameplay statistics through Apple's CloudKit service to improve game balance and the player experience. No personally identifiable information is collected. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Cold War Chess is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all devices.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cold War Chess shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to data loss.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
